NBA Player representatives never approved union leader's $15 million contract

Reported today on Yahoo! Sports

As reported by Yahoo! Sports the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) Executive Director Billy Hunter and the association's legal counsel Gary Hall may have failed to get proper player representatives approval for a five-Year, $15 million contract extension for Hunter in 2010.

Without going into all the details which can be found by clicking on the link above it appears that Mr. Hunter did not bother to allow the association to even vote on the issue of his own contract extension.

The U.S. Justice Department is also been investigating Hunter and the association's business practices with the Department of Labor.

I hope and trust that the system is both swift, stern and correct with its findings.
